Socket fit is to see how the prosthetic limb fits in with the rest if the body. Alignment is how parts of the prosthetic fit together, based on how they work together, length of residual limb, body posture and size, and ability control. The type of prosthetic also correlates on what your occupation or hobbies are and how physically fit you are.It is made up of a socket, the bucket-shell that encases your limb and attaches to the prosthetic knee joint on top and then a pylon, which attaches the prosthetic foot. How the prosthetic is made and how it works depends on the individual itself.
